The first number corresponds to the diameter of the lenses, the second to the bridge and the third to the length of the temple or arm of the lenses.

B) The comparison method

The bridge or size of your nose, if the ones you currently have are too low, choose a smaller bridge.
If the bridge of your glasses sits too high on your nose, then you should choose glasses with a larger bridge. This will allow the bridge to fall further than the glasses you currently have.
