Transactions carried out through this website Bonoboss.cl are subject to these Terms and Conditions, as well as to current Chilean legislation, in particular Law No. 19,496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights and Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions described below is a requirement for purchasing from Bonoboss.cl.

Bonoboss products can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age (adults) using any of the electronic payment methods available on the site. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use this site only through your parents or legal representative.

Security and Privacy

All information you provide us is used only for promotional and/or informational purposes and is not given to third parties for any reason. For more information, please review our privacy policy.

We may request information from users or customers regarding their name, email address, telephone number and/or RUT number. We assure you that this data will not be handled by any company other than Bonoboss® and will be treated confidentially, in accordance with the provisions of current legislation and exclusively used to process the purchase, delivery and, where appropriate, to send advertising about offers and promotions.

The client registered on Bonoboss.cl will have the right to request information about his/her registered personal data and to order the rectification, elimination and/or cancellation of this data when he/she deems it appropriate, in accordance with Law No. 19,628. To exercise these rights, the client may send an email to sac@bonoboss.cl .

Right of Withdrawal

The customer may return a product purchased at Bonoboss.cl within 10 days of receipt, without having to invoke any reason and as long as the product has not been damaged due to an event attributable to the customer.

The amount corresponding to the purchased product(s) will be refunded depending on their category. The standard shipping cost will be debited from the return since it is a service provided and paid for. Shipping costs for returns must be paid by the customer.

Glasses and products must be returned with their original accessories . If the original accessories are not returned, the amounts corresponding to the missing accessory will be debited:

  • Case $7,900.
  • Cleaning cloth $2,900.
  • Ethnic bag $2,900.
  • Additional straps for glasses $4,900.
  • Watch straps $14,900.

For accessories not mentioned, the value of the product on the website will be taken as a reference.

In the case of prescription lenses or personalized prescription lenses, a full or partial refund will be made as appropriate:

  • For custom lenses with an optical prescription, the frame will be returned or exchanged minus the cost of the optical lenses as appropriate.
  • In the case of free anti-reflective crystals, $10,000 will be debited from the total paid as it is a service provided (The list value of this product is $20,000).

To exercise this right, the customer must present the product at the Bonoboss Drugstore or fill out the form at bonoboss.returnscenter.com

Likewise, you must accompany the original receipt and return in good condition the original packaging elements, such as labels, warranty certificates, user manuals, boxes, protective elements and their accessories or pay their respective value, previously informed.

In the case of products purchased on sale (second unit for x% off), delivery of all of them will be required, without prejudice to the return being made for only one of them.

The customer must assume the costs of shipping the product to our warehouses in Santiago, if required, within 10 days to our physical store at Drugstore. Shipments made 10 days after receipt will not be processed for refunds as they are outside the deadline.

Refunds are made centrally, and the refund will be issued within 5 to 15 business days from receipt of the product in the store or warehouse.

No refunds are made in store, because the cancellation of purchases made with bank credit cards is done through Mercadopago or Getnet, and the refund is made directly to the buyer's card. In the case of purchases with debit cards or transfers processed by this means, this is under the payment and refund policies of Mercadopago or Getnet, adjusted to the current consumer law. In case of cash payments, the refund must be requested by electronic transfer from the central office.

If the conditions set out above are not met, the Client will not be able to enjoy the aforementioned benefit.

Legal Guarantee

In the event that a product purchased at Bonoboss.com presents manufacturing faults or defects, does not have the technical characteristics reported, or has been shipped damaged or incomplete, the customer will have the right to choose, within 3 months of receipt, one of the following alternatives:

  1. Free product repair;
  2. Replacement or exchange of the product upon return of the same; or
  3. Refund of the amount paid upon return of the product.

To exercise this right, the customer must present the product, along with any document proving the purchase, at our physical point of sale (Drugstore) or, if they are from a region, send it/them to our offices.

According to the provisions of the Consumer Rights Protection Act, a fault or defect will be considered to exist:

  1. a) When products subject to mandatory safety or quality standards do not meet the corresponding specifications;
  2. b) When the materials, parts, pieces, elements, substances or ingredients that constitute or integrate the products do not correspond to the specifications they bear or to the mentions on the label;
  3. c) When any product, due to deficiencies in manufacturing, processing, materials, parts, pieces, elements, substances, ingredients, structure, quality or sanitary conditions, as the case may be, is not entirely suitable for the use or consumption for which it is intended or for which the supplier has indicated in its advertising;
  4. d) When the supplier and consumer have agreed that the products subject to the contract must meet certain specifications and this does not occur;
  5. e) When, after the first time the guarantee has been made effective and the corresponding technical service has been provided, the deficiencies that make the product unfit for the use or consumption referred to in letter c) above persist. This right shall continue to exist in the event of a deficiency other than the one that was the subject of the technical service, or if the same deficiency recurs, within the period of 3 months from receipt of the product.
  6. f) When the object of the contract has defects or hidden flaws that make it impossible to use it for its normal purpose;

In the case of a refund, the payment will be made to the bank account you indicate, within 5 business days from receipt of the product in the store or warehouse. No refunds will be made for online purchases in stores.

For the purposes of this section, a single good shall be considered to be one that has been sold as a whole, even if it is made up of different units, parts, pieces or modules, notwithstanding that these may or may not provide a utility independently of one another. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the case of replacement of the product, this may be done with respect to a unit, part, piece or module, provided that it is for another equal to the one being replaced.

The protocol for personalized glasses with an optical prescription is as follows:

Measurement and comparison will be carried out with a medical prescription. A report will be requested from the optical laboratory in the case of:

- If there are discrepancies in the diopters delivered VS the medical prescription, or in the case of a deviation greater than 5º in the case of astigmatism, 100% of the amount received will be refunded.

- If the optical laboratory report shows that they were manufactured in accordance with the medical prescription sent, the amount charged will not be refunded since it corresponds to a customization service provided.

Bonoboss is not responsible for any prescription errors (incorrect diopters or unclear instructions) presented at the time of purchase.

*If the Customer wishes to adhere to the right of withdrawal, it must be done within 10 days of purchase.

Changes

In addition to the legal guarantee right and the right of withdrawal mentioned above, Bonoboss offers a special benefit to its customers consisting of the possibility of exchanging a product, without stating a reason.

In the case of a product exchange (i.e., the delivery of the product in exchange for another good), customers may exercise this benefit within 30 days from the date of their receipt or invoice. This only applies to retail sales and not to wholesalers.

The exchange benefit may be exercised as long as the products do not present faults or deficiencies to which the legal guarantee applies, and as long as the product is new and unused, in perfect condition and in its original packaging.

To exercise this benefit, the customer must present the product, along with the receipt or invoice, at a Bonoboss point of sale (Drugstore). In the case of products purchased on promotion, all of them must be returned, without prejudice to the exchange being made only for one of them.

The associated shipping costs must be paid by the customer.

Orders with Free Returns

In the event that our team or service has made a mistake when personalizing or shipping your product, you will be able to enjoy a free exchange or benefit. You must request a return label from our customer service team via WhatsApp or at sac@bonoboss.cl indicating your order number and what happened. Only in the event that it is informed by the team, the customer must send the product by their own means using Reversso or another means indicated by the customer service team , with the most economical type of shipping. Shipments made by other couriers or AM or priority services will not be reimbursed. In this case, the amount of the value quoted at Correos de Chile will be reimbursed.

Once you request the return label from our team, they will send it to you as soon as possible. To do so, you must enter your request at bonoboss.returnscenter.com and our team will contact you via WhatsApp to coordinate everything.

Payments, prices and promotions

All payments with credit cards, debit cards or retail cards are made through Mercadopago. Bonoboss does not store any type of credit card information. Therefore, refunds are processed through the same payment system used by the customer, in this case Mercadopago, in accordance with the refund conditions of said company.

In the event that the price of a product, due to an involuntary error by Bonoboss.com, is published at a value much lower than its cost (for example, sale price $0, $1, $10, $100, etc.), the company reserves the right to cancel the transaction.

In the case of automatic discounts or discount coupons, these will be deactivated during special discount dates, such as Cyberday, Black Friday, among others.

Bonoboss® reserves the right to cancel a purchase order due to possible fraud or misuse of benefits provided to customers.

About Shipping Costs and Times

As indicated in the right of withdrawal section, shipping costs will be paid in full by the customer in the event of returns, exchanges, warranty requests, etc. Or you can visit our physical store to have the product delivered.

In the case of shipping times for custom orders, whether optical glasses, wallets, pencils or any other accessory, customization takes between 3 to 15 business days depending on the product, this refers to the time in the workshop or laboratory. This is independent and additional to the times of the shipping method you choose.

For pre-sale products, the delivery time will be indicated in the product description.

Optical Lenses

- When receiving a frame for lens changes, the laboratory is not obligated to return the original lenses because if this service is contracted, it is because they were damaged or the diopters were changed.

- All free CR AR lenses are lenses with stock diopters up to 4:2. The index can be 1.49 or 1.56, it does not include thinned or laboratory lenses with special treatments.
